Roblox - Question about linking accounts

My son mainly plays roblox on the xbox and we've have made purchases on that account and he just got a new tablet for Christmas and would like to play roblox on there and wants to use the same account so he keeps all his stuff, I know you have to make a roblox account and then link the 2. My question is if we do that will the account merge and he'll keep all his purchases, robux, etc... made on the xbox account?

Please, follow these steps to link your accounts: Open the ROBLOX mobile app and log in to your account. Click on the gear icon located in the upper-right corner of the screen to open the Settings menu. Select the Account Info tab. Scroll down to the Linked Accounts section and click on the Xbox button. Enter your Microsoft account information and follow the prompts to link your accounts. I hope this helps.

I am not seeing a Linked accounts section in Roblox when I launch the app on my machine.

There is no xbox link account button on roblox mobile in the settings.

I have the same issue.

I purchased robux but it went to my microsoft account and wont link to the game

I'm having the same issue. No linked account section whether I log on in the app or via a web browser. Any solutions to this?
