Redeem code

Imagei brought a xbox live gift card yesterday. When trying to redeem the code,  i kept getting a message saying error on there end. I contacted Microsoft support,  but its been nearly 16hours since I've heard from them. Can someone here help  me out. Thank you

Check your subscriptions at account.microsoft.com/services and see if you have a past due balance on one of your subscriptions.

This will prevent you from being able to enter in any code including gift card codes.

You would need to contact xbox support then by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us they should be able to give you more information.

Have you tried using another browser on your smartphone or your pc? You could also try to redeem it on your console. Also you could check this page https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status and check if there are issues on Microsofts side.
