Hi,Avery Smith1
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I understand that you are experiencing a disconnection from the server in question when playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and switching modes.
1. I suggest you try switching to a different network environment to see if this solves your problem.
2. Or try logging into the server directly to see if you can update to the latest version.
3. find RockStar games launcher in the game library and delete it, don't forget to uncheck the delete game data box, otherwise all the game data in your computer will disappear. Then find the Social club and launcher folders in the file and delete them all.
After the deletion, go to rockstar games official website to download the new launcher, after the download is finished, open it and it will update and download the extra files, it may be very slow at this time, so don't worry about it, just close it, then go to xbox and find Red Dead Redemption 2 and click on start the game, it will open the launcher automatically and download it at full speed, then it will automatically log in to the r Then it will automatically log in to the R Star launcher which also automatically opens the game, then check to see if that solves your problem.
If your problem is not solved, please reply to me and I will continue to help you.
