New Xbox menu layout

The new menu layout is absolutely awful. They took simple tasks and made them 2-5 steps longer.  It makes zero sense.  Its as if they said “lets make the new menu as tedious and cumbersome as possible”.  Seriously it just doenst flow at all, and was much more simple before.  Now like i said already normal things take many additional steps.  Confusing how how anyone thought this was better?

Hello sorry for the confusion about the new Layout, but if you didn't already know you can make it how you would like with moving items on the guide or in the main page.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you're not enjoying the new layout of the Xbox UI. My suggestion is to join the Xbox Insider's program, here you can opt-in to try the newly released UI before the public, this option may allow you to test a different UI that you enjoy more.

That changes the tabs above but doesnt change the system within the tabs which is the real issue.  For example chat use to be a one button push to enter, now it takes three steps etc just weird.

I don't really understand their desire to move the tiles from vertical to horizontal and the back again in every major redesign.

They may have been trying to make switching between tabs faster for different people's preferences. I do agree though they do toy with it a little too much.

I understand your discontent but it is an update and unfortunately we cannot choose the interface, it will be a matter of adapting

I didn't like how they moved the home and achievements about. I changed it back pretty quickly.
