NEW LED TV AND INPUT LAG

I just bought a new lg LED tv (model 47LW5300) and i am getting horrible input lag, it feels super blocky like someone took the power steering off a car.  How can I reduce this? Game mode helped very little, there is something called True Motion that I'm getting conflicting answers about it helping or not, on tests i'm having a hard time pinpointing as i'm starting to adjust to the lag.  So basically what are ways to reduce input lag? what settings should i turn off or are important to set lower. Any advice would be greatly appriciated

What cables are you using?  HDMI, Component, or composite?

When you try HDMI, disable any image enhancers such as "Motion Flow" or "Cine-Motion". If the TV has a game mode, try turning it on or off to see if there is a difference.

OP, I'm 99.999% sure that HDMI cables will greatly enhance your picture.  Also, have you turned on Stereoscopic 3D settings from the in-game options menu?  If you have a 3D TV, turning this option on may help.  Good Luck!

Use hdmi

In motion plus set judder reduction low (i have it on 3) and blur reduction high(7ish)

that should do the trick,I also turned all the noise filters etc off.
