Hey Smith

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

Since you are having issues with turning on your Power Supply unit, It would be worth a shot to attempt to connect the it to a different outlet, or if you are using a surge protector, to try and plug it in directly into a wall.

Give this a try and let us know if this works for you!

It may need a reset. Try these steps to reset your power supply unit:

Unplug the cables from the console, wall outlet, and power supply itself.

Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step lets the power supply reset. Make sure you unplug the power supply unit from both the wall and your Xbox One console.

Firmly plug the power cable back into the electrical outlet and the power supply. Do not plug the power unit into the console yet.

Check the light on the power supply.

Hello there,

Thank you for replying back so quickly. If your console is still not turning on but the light on the Power supply unit is still on, your console is the one that is malfunctioning. At this point since it is an Original Xbox One, you will need to seek out a replacement unit as we no longer do out-of-warranty repairs for the original Xbox One.

If you have any other questions please feel free to reply back letting us know. Thank you again for posting on Xbox Forums.

Sincerely,
Ruben

The same thing happens to me all the time It will go days without turning on and then it was start working I think its my outlet not the xbox itself. Try unplugging from that outlet and leaving it off and unplugged for a few ours. It usually works for me. I have no clue what causes it... mines orange light will be on and it will like make a sound but not turn on.

Sorry to hear nothing any of us have offered you has helped but if your power supply light is not  blinking orange, then there is no need in replacing your current power supply. If it is a steady orange light, you'll need to have the console itself serviced if it is serviceable if not you will most likely have to purchase another system.
