Minecraft Windows 10 PC Cannot Login to Xbox Account

I just recently bought the Minecraft Windows 10 edition to play on my computer. This isn't the pocket edition. I have an xbox live account, and am trying to login but have gotten the same "Failed to login" error everytime.

I've tried to:

  • Uninstall/Reinstall the game twice, along with restarting my computer between these two attempts.
  • Giving myself complete administrative control under the app properties.
  • Restarting all of my xbox related services under "services.msc" in my windows system.
  • Using ccleaner to "clean" my computer.
  • Update my graphic drivers.

I have more than the required system requirements, am running windows 10, have a working internet connection, and an xbox live/microsoft account. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet to fix what I'm experiencing. 

I have attached 2 screenshots for clarification:

  1. My services under my "services.msc" section inside my windows system.
  2. The login error on minecraft.

If there's anything else I can provide I'd appreciate all the help.

If you see the error message "Sorry, something's wrong with your Microsoft account. Go to https://account.live.com for help" when you're trying to sign in to Xbox Live, it means that there's a problem with your Microsoft account.

If you see the error message "Sorry, something's wrong with your Microsoft account. Go to https://account.live.com for help" when you're trying to sign in to Xbox Live, it means that there's a problem with your Microsoft account.

Thanks for updating us with your reply. If you're able to sign into other Xbox or Microsoft services with your account, but are receiving a specific log in error message only with Minecraft, then you may wish to reach out to Mojang Support for further assistance.

I went through their support, the only suggestions they have for this issue is to contact Xbox, since it's an xbox live account error. https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/1175743 

The only thing I got out of this was to post on the community support forums or contact an online agent, which I may end up trying. 

I don't see why this isn't working, as I'm able to login to my account on the windows store, and online, and still have roughly 4 months left of Xbox Live Gold membership.

I went to send Mojang a support ticket, but they're still only currently replying to tickets from April 29th and I'd like to try and play Minecraft sometime this year.
