Is there a way to change the Minecraft username displayed in game connected to a Microsoft account? There were complications with the migration from Mojang to Microsoft and username I have is now different than my original one and I don't know how to change it with my Microsoft and Xbox account.

If minecraft name change is related to Bedrock edition you may need to change your Xbox gamertag
For Java edition you should be able to do it login with your Microsoft account through Mojang page. If you're not able to do it from there for Java edition you may need contact mojang support for this one
