Minecraft charges 29.99 a month? REALLY??? How do I stop these charges

I bought Minecraft on Windows 10 PC for my son from the Windows Store for what I thought was a one time charge of 29.99. Now, our statement says it is a RECURRING charge for 29.99. It did not say clearly that it is a recurring charge.

We do not want to pay 29.99 a month for MineCraft. That is insane.

How do we cancel the 29.99 a month Minecraft charge?

Hello, first on your Microsoft account check out billing and subscription and see if it shows the Minecraft subscription. If it does it should give an option to remove reoccurring billing. You would need to call in and speak with a live rep in order to look into a refund.
