Logitech g920 not working properly with F1 2022

My g920 steering wheel gear worked properly for about a week with the new F1 2022 game. Now, while buttons still functioning in navigation through menus, the wheel and pedals stop responding immediately when the game session starts.

I already tried:

- resetting gear

- checking settings in game - everything works

- hard rebooting console

- resetting console

- reinstalling the game

Nothing works…

Please help

I feel like they don’t even care to fix it. They’re probably saying to themselves get the new Xbox if you don’t wanna have issues. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Same issue over here on Xbox one S - G920. So many Xbox/G920 users complaining about this. Why does it take so long to fix?? Come on man… this has been going on for 3/4 days now. I like to be compensated for this. Bought the wheel/seat/Xbox live gold and game a couple of weeks back just to play F1 2022. Very disappointed 👎 Fix it ASAP and let people know when you are on it…

I have the exact same problems. If my wheel is connected to the Xbox and I launch a game, it slows down brutally but if the wheel is not connected then everything works normally.

I am having the exact same problem in the UK since Saturday, I have tried reset, every usb port, a different G920 wheel and still no joy. I hope they pick up on this thread and action ASAP

Same issue here, sort it out Microsoft, expensive equipment now rendered completely useless!!

I've had the same issue since Friday.

Xbox One S, Logitech G920 wheel.

FH4 works perfectly , FH5 has major sound issues , slow loading & crashes / profile losses.

It was all fine when I was playing on Thu night and all was perfectly normal on shutdown (about 02:14 on Fri) then Friday afternoon the whole game was unable to start and claiming loss of profile. All other parts of the console were working fine and all other games had no issue – just FH5.

There was a console update Fri 21-10-22 @ 02:29 (BST) and it seems to have really messed things up for FH5.

If I unplug the wheel it starts fine with no issues. As soon as I plug the wheel in the sound / playability issues are back, unplug it and sound immediately returns to normal. Need this fixing As soon as possible - struggling badly to play the game using a controller.

In order to see the "report problem" button you must go the MS store and download the APP. Once you do that the button will appear at the bottom next to the "cancel" button

My convo with Xbox Support on Twitter:

“Thank you for reaching Microsoft, and we hope you're doing great! Could you please make sure that your Xbox controller is disconnected when you try to use the wheel?”

 

Me: ”I have tried everything from that to restoring the console, to reinstalling the game. This issue has been going on for days with many people having the same problem. It’s either the most recent update from you(EA)or Xbox that has caused this.”

 

Xbox Support: “Alright we will check with our team, and we'll get back to you as soon as we get an update!”

 

Fingers are crossed but let’s see how long this takes!
