Is it possible to update my modded world(1.18.1) to 1.18.2 without corrupting it?

I have a modded modpack that me and my friends are playing on and we have some mods that we want that are only on 1.18.2 but we dont want to start a new world. please let me know if there is a way

Given that you have mods in your game, it is most likely that the update will corrupt your world. Make sure to create a backup of that world, or wait for the mods to become compatible with the 1.18.2 version, and then you update your world/game.
