I own a Xbox 360 and wanna buy a game

you cannot purchase digital games for Xbox 360, the store has been closed and will not be reopened

Any games that you see still for sale will work on Xbox one and above

But I seen on a video that a xbox 360 was bought from the microsoft store that was backwards possible. Which is why I asked about Sonic Unleashed. So I can download it onto my xbox 360 and play it

All backward compatible 360 games (excluding the delisted ones) are only now purchasable on xbox stores on xbone and series consoles or the xbox website.

And if you want to install on 360, it'll appear in download history of the account that bought it.

No as mentioned you need the marketplace app

You can buy forward backward compatible games as they are PATCHeD FOR next gen consoles

They aren't packaged for.discontinued consoles

The step.above doesn't apply to Xbox 360 as there is no library or ready to install.section in xbox 360

You must use the xbox one or higher as you been told already

Blame the YouTube video when you spend your money and can't get your game

YouTube is never a good source for anything Google how to get free name change the videos are still up but that doesn't mean they are valid which they aren't and meant as click.bait

You can however use DLc codes

As they are linked to your account not the marketplace

But you can't use xbox one existing.codes of bc games

You would.need to.dig.up.a.disk or.play.Russian.roulette with your.wallet.and hope.for.an.ancient code that hasn't.expired

Chances of that are.slim.to.none you are better off with a disk and a disk console

There is a download history option in the 360 settings that you can still download from, and the download history still updates.

I recently bought Dead space 3 and it's dlc on series x, then I went and installed on my 360 because the devil horn glitch is impossible to do on series x.
