How to change xbox profile pictures (gamerpic) on the internet Microsoft. Com or xbox .com?

You need to use the Xbox App for your mobile phone to add a custom gamerpic. :)

If you want to use a custom picture, the easiest way is using the Xbox App. If you want to use the Normal ones (which I assume not), you can change it from your Xbox.

Best way is to log into your Xbox app and upload a photo that way, you can do it by logging in to your Microsoft live account and going to your xbox profile but that is a lot harder and way more steps to do it that way.

These lovely people have nailed it. The app is the method for custom pictures. I have to say I've always found this a little odd myself. It's a feature I would like to see in the future.

I'm not sure why they have changed it friend, but here are ways to change it:

Changing your Xbox One gamerpic

Every profile gets a gamerpic, the picture shown next to your gamertag. You can change it whenever the mood strikes. Or, upload a custom image of your own.

To change your gamerpic:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Select Sign in, choose your profile, then select My profile.
Select Customize profile > Change gamerpic.
Choose a gamerpic.

Make your avatar your gamerpic

To take a picture with your avatar:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Select Sign in, choose your profile, then select My profile.
Select Customize profile > Edit avatar.
Press the Menu button on your controller and select Take a photo.
Switch between the Animations and Background tabs to select the pose you want.
Position your avatar on your chosen background.
Select the View button on your controller to take a picture of your avatar.
Select Save as gamerpic.

Note
You can also select Email picture to email the gamerpic to your Microsoft account.

Upload a custom image

Note This video is available in English only.

To upload a custom image, connect a USB device with a JPG or PNG image on it. You can also grab an image from OneDrive (available in the Microsoft Store under Apps) if you have it installed on your console.

Note
Custom images are only available for adult Microsoft accounts.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Select Sign in, choose your profile, then select My profile.
Select Customize profile > Change gamerpic. (You’ll need to select Switch to gamerpic first if you’re replacing your avatar with a custom image.)
Select Upload a custom image and choose one to use from your connected device or OneDrive.
Select Upload.

It might take a little while for your custom picture to appear while we verify it’s OK. (If it’s not, it’ll be reverted to the last gamerpic or avatar you were using.)

I only change it using the app on my phone. You can select to Edit your profile and then Customize it, and you can select your picture and choose to upload one from your phone.
