Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Wrong language.

I downloaded the game from the store using my gamepass account. My location/region language etc is set to Norway and Norwegian. All other games I downloaded are correctly in English, but for some reason Halo: The Master Chief Collection is in German. I have redownloaded and installed the game countless times without success.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Then try getting the game again. Not sure it will do any good but worth a try.

Halo MCC has language selection in the Options but it isn't immediately obvious (took me a bit to find it), German is the first language in the pick list and English is second. Here are the German words to find it:

Optionen & Karriere
Einstellungen
Press RB to Audio
Bottom item is Sprachen Ändern
Sprachausgabe is Voice option, English is right Dpad
Same for Text
Move down to Sprachen Ändern and press A, the menus should now be in English or whichever supported language you picked.

From Start Menu, Press Menu>GO to COG Wheel>The second is audio. So it will go Controller>Audio>Visual>Network>Gameplay. Set the appropriate language you want in 2nd will change the voices and text. Top one will be voice, bottom will be text.

In the game - Under “AUDIO”, select “CHANGE LANGUAGES” to pick your primary and fallback voice and text language preferences:

Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Wrong language.
