Halo Infinite. Crashes on launch after the "initializing" screen stating Easy Anti-Cheat "Unknown File Version (HaloInfinite.exe)"

Please, repair the EAC Installation Right-click the file and select Run as an Administrator. Once open, click the Repair Services button. For more information: https://www.easy.ac/support/game/guides/installer/ I could find mine inside my Fortnite folder installation. (Drive:\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64\EasyAntiCheat) I would suggest installing Fortnite just for that if you can't find it on your Halo Installation folder.

I have found and tried that method in the Halo Infinite file folder, only issue is that EAC doesn't open in a new window. Nothing seems to happen.

Would you still suggest installint Fortnite to try same? I have seen a video on Youtube of a person using that fix who plays both Halo and Fortnite and when he fixes one it breaks the other.

I downloaded Fortnite and it works fine.

I tried to open EAC through the files in Fortnite to try and manually repair EAC (in both Halo files and Fortnite Files) but EAC closes instantly after opening as administrator.

Just insatalled on C drive and it works. Halo, and all other games, have always worked on D drive until this time with Infinite just.

Honestly Microsoft, this is §/!")==§! I pay for Game Pass or bought the Game and it crashes due to /§$)"= AntiCheat Software on Singleplayer(!!!) Campaign. What's wrong with you? This is hillarious.

Also, the Link which should reference to a Support Site from Anti Cheat goes to Nirvana and also the Game Halo Infinite doesn't even show up under the "Find Support" List of Game on the Anti Cheat Site.

Please fix this asap!

if anyone having issues with halo crashing during loading, and have just updated the nvidia drivers then roll back to the previous one, there is a conflict currently.

Driver Version: 555.85 - Release Date: 2024 May 21

Halo Infinite still broken on XBOX PC app. Error 10009 and no way to fix it. Seems Microsoft are incapable of providing online games anymore since they refuse to properly package the anti-cheat software within it.
