Game stuck in "Press any button" screen (on PC)

Hi,

I downloaded Yakuza : Like a dragon from the Xbox Game pass App on PC, but I cannot play the game.

It stucks at the "Press any button" screen. When I press a button, I can hear a sound, but nothings happens (screens keeps flashing and music is still playing ...)

I tried reinstalling / restarting everything, but it's still stuck ...

Also, I tried with and without an Xbox controller plugged.. Game just doesn't launch.

Other games seem to be working just fine.

Can someone help me with my issue please ?

Hey mate, how are you today? Hope you're well.

First, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work:

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC and try again.

Thanks for your quick answer !

I did try all of the instructions you gave me, but to no avail.

I managed to make it work by simply launching the game via windows store (instead if Xbox game App). At the press any button screen, a windows pop up appeared asking me to accept loging in with my account (which it did not when I was launching the game via Xbox game App).
