Forza Horizon 5 Welcome Pack

Hi,

Before anything else, verify that the Welcome Pack DLC is installed.

If you have the base game installed to internal storage but the add-on installed to an external hard drive that's not connected (or if there’s a fault where it’s not being detected), then the game won't be able to recognise the content. If this is the case, then you would need to either connect the hard drive with the add-on or install it (move or copy) directly to the internal storage. All the game packs are only around 10MB anyway, so it’s best to just have everything together all on the same storage device.

For other car packs such as Formula Drift, the cars need to be individually purchased (for free) from the Autoshow.

Keep in mind that you need to complete at least the first showcase event and one chapter from a Horizon story (El Camino and Vocho are the initial ones) at the minimum. The cars should then automatically unlock and be added to your garage, but you may need to complete a few more races regardless. I’m not sure exactly when the specific house unlocks, but you should unlock it as you progress through the story and discover more. You can enable access to most features and events once you unlock the Festival outposts, Festival Playlist and Horizon adventure.

The 5 cars from the Welcome Pack are:

You also receive a player house, 3 one-time clothes vouchers and a one-time car voucher (I’d say redeem it for anything expensive and rare or legendary, as it’s completely free and you don’t need to spend any credits on this).

If you’re still unable to access any content from the Welcome Pack in-game even after reaching the required progress with the add-on correctly installed, you could try to uninstall and reinstall the add-on (you don’t necessarily need to uninstall the game itself again). Be sure to close the game, try the reinstall and once it’s complete, re-launch FH5. You may need to restart your console for the changes to properly take affect with this updated and reflected in-game.

Also, confirm you’re signed in to the correct account with the associated licence, unless your console is set as your Home Xbox, where any profile you have can access all your purchased games, subscriptions, DLCs and add-ons.
