Error 0x8B0500B6 0x00000000 0x00000201

I tried a reset of my console but when Xbox try to search an update, it appears this error message.
The console doesn't find any SSID and when i try to put it manually, it say "Your security protocol doesn't work" (My connection is already to WPA2-Personal)
Xbox (and other devices) connects to wireless, but on Xbox i don't understand i'm having this problems.

Can you help me?

I suggest you to power cycle the console as explained here:
 https://support.xbox.com/es-EC/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

Meanwhile, you should try to reboot also the modem/router.

Let us know if it works or if you need more assistance.

Hey there MarioCE,

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to potentially get around this situation you are experiencing. 

If you're getting an error saying that the password for your network is incorrect, then it might be a good troubleshooting step to see if it does the same after you change it if you can. 

If that doesn't work, then I highly recommend following the steps provided by our guide we call the Xbox One System Update Solution to help complete the update. 

When you get a chance, give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped.

Hello, do you already performed a console power cycle? this will fix most of the times this kind of issues, here are the instructions in the following link:

For anyone who is experiencing this problem ive had it for almost 3 months and finally resolved it! Thankfully before purchasing a new console!

right so my issue started like many others, couldnt connect to live etc, did all the power off, resets etc right upto factory reset.

after this console wouldnt work at all, said update was needed wouldnt even boot the console up, wifi was good but wouldnt update. Anyway to cut a long story short!

I discovered my provider (sky) had this broadband sheild in place that was affecting me, i deactivated sheild and xbox worked instantly could download update and set console up no worries. For some reason the sheild was affecting my ability to connect to xbox server. Not sure why or if any other providers have similar issues but try and de-activate them or modify there settings and hopefully will cure issue!
