I always get Error 0x89235106 when trying to install the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store. I have an Internet connection and no Problems installing other apps. When trying to install Minecraft Launcher with the "MinecraftInstaller.exe" I run into an error that tells me to try it with the Microsoft Store. What can i do?

Hi Linus! I'm more than happy to help you! I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft Launcher. No worries, let me help you sort this out. Kindly try to perform the following workarounds: 1. Update Windows: Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings. On Windows 10, select Update & Security. On Windows 11, select Windows Update. On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are available for your device. After the updates have downloaded, select Install now to start the installation. Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect. 2. Update your Device Drivers: For the best game performance, make sure your system’s video card drivers (or display adapter drivers) are up to date. Drivers are available on the support website for your computer manufacturer, or if your computer system is custom built, on the video card manufacturer’s support website. Updating video card drivers can resolve game crashes, improve frame rates, and improve overall game performance. Update Xbox and Gaming services apps: Press the Start button on the taskbar, type store, and open the Microsoft Store app. Select Library. Under Updates & downloads, check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app or Gaming Services app. If an update is available, select Update. 4. Remove and Reinstall Gaming Services: Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device: Press the Start button on the taskbar, type powershell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator. In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter: get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers In the same window, type the following command and press Enter: start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt. Restart your device and try to install the Minecraft Launcher again. I followed Step 1 and there where 4 Updates i did.
I skipped Step 2 because i am working on an Surface Go 2, so there shouldn't be any drivers needed.
When trying Step 3 (and so Step 4 too) i ran into the issue that i couldn't upgrade / install Gaming Service:
I clicked on "Try Again" ("Erneut versuchen"), but nothing happend, even after restarting my device.
Is there anything else i can do?

You're welcome and thank you for the information! I'm sorry that the steps above didn't work. I found a few solutions in other threads however based on their comments it seems it didn't work. In this case, I would highly suggest you reach out to the game developer Mojang for further assistance as they have the tools and resources to properly investigate this case since the issue only occurs with the Minecraft Launcher app. You may contact them using the link below: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new Note/Disclaimer: This is a non-Microsoft website.
