EA Play won’t install games

So I thought it would be cool to play Battlefield or PvZ with EA play and the xbox pc game pass, so i installed EA desktop to do so. 
However when I press the download button for any game nothing happens, and when trying to do so in xbox it just says an error that i can’t seem to find anywhere.

Any hints on how to solve this? I am aware thoigh that it is in Beta (I think) so it would be understandable if its just a wacky glitch :/

I also have the same problem. I have my accounts linked, the ea desktop app downloaded. clicking the "install" button in Xbox App throws up an error (error code 0xa3e903ed).

I can download the game through EA desktop, but Xbox App fails to see this.

Hello everyone! Here in Brazil the service started working tonight and demanded the following:

1. Download the EA Desktop application and register at Ea Play: 

https://origin-a.akamaihd.net/EA-Desktop-Client-Download/installer-releases/EADesktopInstaller.exe

2. After installing EA Desktop, enter your EA Play email and password credentials

3. Now open the XBOX App -> Game Pass -> Games -> Section a game from EA Play

4. You will be directed to EA Desktop to authorize the integration of EA Play and GamePass services -> Agree and ok.

5. Return to the Xbox app and click "Download" the desired game.

6. Here the app reports the error 0xa3e903ed in all games.

7. The solution was to open EA Desktop and select the desired game and click on download, it worked well this way.

Similar issue.  I choose a game and select download in the Xbox app which in turn opens the EA Desktop app.  My gamepass account is showing it is linked and that I have EA Play.  However, the download button for the game in EA Desktop is missing.  All of the EA Play games are missing the download button. Meanwhile the xbox app gets stuck saying it is preparing to download at 0%.  Then it disappears from the sidebar in the Xbox app.  The button to download the game on the Xbox app goes back to saying install.  It is an endless circles that doesn't work.  I just spent and hour with EA chat and it is still not resolved.  Absolutely ridiculous!

I am having the exact same issue. Clicking "Install included with gamepass" on any EA game available in the Xbox app takes me to the EA app, but there is no option to install the game in the EA app. Very frustrating, Just wanted try out some Battlefield without forking over 50 bucks.

Yo, what game are you trying to download I think some games are falsely listed in the Xbox and EA app, I was trying to download BFV which on both apps says I should be able to and I have the same issue as you, but several other games like A Way Out or Fallen Order are able to be downloaded in the EA app for me.

I tried again a few hours ago and after selecting install in the Xbox app, My BF4 download immediately started in the EA desktop app. It seems like there was just a weird glitch with Xbox and EA comunicating. I would try restarting both apps and maybe your computer and see what happens, it might just need to implement a new patch or something.

Yeah seems to just be weird random issues here and there, legit just left my pc and came back to my download for BFV working again...

I agree, it is a palliative that works even on the PC:

1. Uninstall the EA Desktop app

2. Restart the computer

3. Open GamePass and select the desired game

4. The app will be reinstalled and the download will start immediately.

It don't even start the ea desktop for      me , it says download the app from the link even when its already installed
