EA play not working with Xbox PC game pass

I cannot access all my EA games that i used to play before. The EA application shows a message saying that my xbox game pass was expired and I have to renew game pass to play. However I checked that my Xbox PC game pass was not expired. I can still play games in xbox app but not games in EA play. I tried to restart the app and logged out many times, but no response at all.

Hello Yin, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

The best place to start here is to double check your membership status at https://account.microsoft.com/services. If the membership is not active then you can renew it there.

If it is active then try logging out of the Store app and all Xbox apps (including EA) then double check to make sure your PC has no updates. If there are any updates run them. After that restart your PC and make sure to use the same account that owns the membership to log into the PC and all apps.

My subscription is active and I can play games in xbox app but not games in EA play. I tried logging out and restarting but the problem remains.

Thanks for letting me know. Please double check your settings on EA's side to make sure everything there looks good https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/subscription/index. If you had a subscription there they don't automatically be cancelled so it could be an issue on their end.

If everything looks good there then please start an online chat with support by logging in to https://support.xbox.com and click on Contact Us.

i am also having the same issue

xbox pass is auto renewal and due out the 10/4/2025

edit - also not linking to rainbox six on ubisoft, only direct xbox game pass games are working

I cannot access ea play games either. It says I’m not subscribed yet I 100% am through Xbox Gamepass ultimate. Can play them on console but not PC. Tried restarting, all the first steps. Still not able. Must be on EA end. I will play another game not on ea I guess

I have contacted EA, and they say it's their issue. Let's hope EA will fix it soon.
