Does Microsoft Edge via Xbox One console have mouse support?

I notice that it works fine with my keyboard, but it doesn't seem to recognize my wired mouse. I still must use the Xbox One controller to move the curser. Has mouse support been implemented in the Edge browser? Wondering if only certain mice are supported.

As far as I am aware there is no mouse support for edge on Xbox One at this point. (but I could be wrong)

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums! 

We understand this can be frustrating since the Mouse is not recognized when trying to maneuver Microsoft Edge on the Xbox One. We have heard there are issues with using the mouse on Microsoft Edge but the keyboard works. We are gathering information on this issue.

Note: Wired USB mice will work only in select games and apps that have enabled mouse navigation. Check your games to see if they offer mouse input. Try to configure your mouse in Settings > Kinect & devices.There are options for pointer speed and swapping primary and secondary mouse buttons.
