discs region code is incorrect for this console

Xbox games and items are region specific, meaning actual countries.

If you live in New Zealand, you must make sure to always get New Zealand games. Never order from another country.

Kindly double check the following.

-game version (upper right hand of box cover or printed on the spine, PAL should be displayed)

-xbox console version (not sure how to check but try to see the box, manual, etc to see if the xbox console is PAL)

-xbox account (any account should work on any console so no problem here)

If you are both 100% that both game and console are both PAL then there might be a problem with the disc. Im not at home right now but im not sure if there is also a version writen on the cd itself. Try to check that as well if its also PAL. Someone might have switched the CD content and the original game case.

@jameser78: that is not true, its region bounded like T swizz said with the pal code system, i live in Belgium and can play games i buy in the Neterlands and UK, so that is not true what you said there! (check your stuff before posting please)

New Zealand and the UK are very far apart and would be affected by regions.

My friend bought mud from a different country and it's pal and it works but mxgp doesn't and it's pal

It´s the game.

Some games are region locked thats all.

US and europe consoles can all read PAL but if a game is region locked it will not work.

So if the game is only for New Zealand but your console is not it will not read it.

It has nothing to do with PAL.

Sometimes it has to do with the language sometimes it´s just a choice for the publisher to put a region lock on it.

There is nothing you can do about it.

It is known that Fifa is region locked.
