Deleting XBox Live Chat Messages

Hi ,

My child has an xbox one s and I want to know if i delete either some of the chat messages or the whole conversation in messages thats been had with another xbox live user, will the messages stay on the other persons account even though the conversation has been deleted our end? I am basically hoping if i delete them this end it will delete them off the other persons....kids....don’t ask! 

Hi there, unfortunately if you delete a conversation you just do it on your side.

Ok thanks I’ll have a look at that. Wish i never bought him one now, it causes nothing but arguements with his friends
