dc universe online logging in issues (special case)

so i recently re installed dcuo to check out and play the new metal pt1 event at first was having ingame error codes not xbox related ones their error codes like 0x0121 or 0x0102 and i have put a support ticket in on their website and tried all their suggestions and they even told me to come here to the support page for assistants and i have some what figured out the problem but cant seem to find a way to fix because its connected to my other friend who i game with we both have each others homes but when he plays he logs on just fine no errors but i get errors and i noticed when he was on and in game i was then able to get on and in game so i tested the theory...told him to close his game and wait i tried several times to get in but met errors told him to run his game as soon as he got to the character select screen i tried loading in again and got on with no problems as soon as he got off and i reset my game i was getting errors again...does anybody have any idea how this works and a way to fix it. (also tried with our original homes and nothing changed he gets in fine i get errors.)

  • Are you game sharing the game? If so, only one person may play at a time.
  • Do you both own the game?
  • Have you contacted DC Universe Online support for the in-game error messages?
  • Are you able to play other games?

We have each others homes so yes game sharing, since the game is free we both own it, i can play other games just fine, and yes i have contacted their support and oddly enough they suggested to go microsoft support

Hi Douvredif,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help troubleshoot the issue,

First, you need to power cycle the Xbox. Hold down the power button on the console until it shuts down and then remove the power cord from the console and the power outlet. Leave the console unplugged for 5 minutes and then try again.

If the issue continues try out a soft factory reset, where you reset and keep games and apps installed. Accounts on the console will be removed and you will need to re-connect to your network during the setup. Make sure you have your account's login information so you can sign back in during the set-up.

Try those two steps out first and let us know the results!

Nope tried redownloading and playing it 2 days ago was met with constant error 102 again

Yea I'm having error code 0x0121 too, have been for over an hour now. Ive tried hard reset, soft factory reset, reinstalled the game and nothing works. Would really like to play but can ):
