CDProjektRed has issued a statement asking buyers of the game to get refunds from Microsoft if they feel that the game did not meet their expectations.
I applied for a refund and Microsoft said that because I played the game already, my refund is denied, stating part of their digital terms of service.

It sounds like CDPR and MS didn't communicate this with each other and gamers are stuck with poor products.
