Hello gooder player,
Thank you for your contribution to the Microsoft community. Just a reminder, here on community we are not able to double check accounts and devices to check for the possible issue. What we can do here is provide/guide customers with possible troubleshooting steps for the issue.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues connecting to the Xbox network. Based on the information you provided, it seems like there might be an issue with your router's settings or firmware. You have tried multiple troubleshooting that worked on other issues like this, but it is not working on your end for some reason. I truly understand that you are frustrated as well but this seems to be a problem on your network already and not on your console so it would also be the best to contact your ISP if the troubleshooting steps that I will provide won't work on your end.
Basing on the statement you provided above, here are some troubleshooting steps that you may try:
.Check for firmware updates
Check your router's manufacturer website for any available firmware updates and install them if there are any.
Check for Xbox Service Alerts: Before diving into troubleshooting, visit the Xbox status page to ensure there are no ongoing service interruptions. If there are alerts, wait until the service is back up and running before proceeding.
Wired Connection (Recommended):
A wired network connection is usually more reliable. If possible, connect your Xbox directly to your router or modem using an Ethernet cable.
Plug one end of the network cable into a port on your router or gateway, and the other end into the back of your console.
If connecting directly to a modem, follow these steps:
Plug one end of the network cable into your modem.
Plug the other end into the back of your console.
Turn off the console by holding the power button for 5 seconds.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the modem.
After 1 minute, plug the modem back in and wait for all lights to return to normal.
Turn on the console.
Inspect Network Cables:
Carefully examine all network cables connected to your router, gateway, or modem. Look for kinks, stripped plastic shielding, and exposed or frayed wires.
Unplug and inspect the cable connectors (both on the console and the router/gateway/modem). Ensure they are clean and free of debris.
Plug them back in securely.
Test Network Connection:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Navigate to Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
Select Test network connection.
If the test is successful, your console is connected to the Xbox network.
If prompted to update console software, select Yes.
Wireless Connection:
If using Wi-Fi, ensure your router is compatible with your console’s firmware.
Test the connection again using the steps above.
If successful, consider adjusting your router settings or moving the console closer to the router.
.Check for firmware updates
Check your router's manufacturer website for any available firmware updates and install them if there are any.
Contact your internet service provider: If none of the above steps work, contact your internet service provider to see if there are any known issues in your area or if they can provide further assistance.
Hope I helped! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have further concerns. I will be waiting for you and I would be more than glad to assist you further.
