Civilization 6 crashing on Xbox series S

Hello, so I got civilization 6 all the dlc frontier pass everything a while back. I’ve had no issues with the game until about a month ago, and now every time I play I can play for about an hour sometimes less before the game decides to crash or freeze and then crash. Not sure what the issue is, I emailed 2k support and worked through all their troubleshooting steps and nothing worked. I’m playing on Xbox series S and none of my other games have this issue. Trying to get answers from Microsoft or see if anyone else has solves this issue

I have 2 external hard drives and the internal storage expansion card, I’ve played the game on internal the expansion card and both of my external hard drives. It has continued to do this on all storage drives and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, I’ve completely reset my whole Xbox, I’ve attempted to reset the cache on my Xbox and unplug it and replug it in after a little time. I’ve reset my internet and MAC address, I’ve even attempted to play the game with a different account to see if maybe my account is messed up but none of that has addressed or fixed the issue with the game.

I see. Looking over the problem seems to be very common with this game. I haven't found any other solution either, and you've done everything I could suggest. I don't think it's a problem on your side but with the game and unfortunately, it's only the developer who could fix it.

There is a possibility that there is either a connection issue with your external hard drive or somehow the external drive is corrupted. One possible solution is to uninstall the game and then reinstall the game. Try installing the game on only the internal Xbox hard drive to see if that fixes the problem. Also, try launching other games on your external hard drive to see if how those games are functioning normally.

Don't use the DLC and the game should run, the issue is with the DLC

I am playing on a series S and did not get the dlc and still have major crashing issues.

Yeah see my only issue is I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled on both external drives my storage expansion card and the internal hd and same issue no matter where the game is placed
