Cannot download GamePass PC games through Xbox Beta App, with error 0x80070005

This is getting really frustrating

I cannot download almost any game from the Xbox Beta App. I paid already my PC Gamepass subscription. When I try to download "The Surge", it gives me the error: "Something unexpected happened" with the error code 0x80070005 . This is REALLY frustrating. If the application is not ready, why in the world you start to sell your unfinished product then?

Anyway, if any of you guys have found a workaround to make this work, I will really appreciate that you share it with me.

i currently cant even seem to get to the xbox pass libary or my own game libary i keep getting this error message

Even for $1, Microsoft just made million of dollars by selling a service that doesn't work. I just can't understand how do you sell a service that is incomplete, and just doesn't work.

Same thing happens to me, every time i try to access the store or download a game.

Very frustrating!

You need to have the new update for pc installed for may if you are using pc.

If it's xbox gamespass works brilliantly however last night due to traffic it was down as was the store. It should be ok now.

Same issue here. 
Windows is up to date (version 1903), the XBox Beta app is installed properly, In the Parameters, the XBox Game Pass PC Games is displayed as active.

Yet is I try to download a game from the Game Pass Pc Games, it tells me an unexpected error occurs 0x80070005.

However I can dowload game that only requires the old XBox Game Pass for Windows (which I also have).
So Metro or Vampyr give me an error while Wargroove or Sea of Thieves for instance, work.

Keep in mind that it just released.  There are going to be issues with it.  I can understand your frustration, but give it time and they will work out the bugs.

Everyone is having issues with this today. I would just keep trying it throughout the day and I'm sure they will be working on this as there are so many people getting stuck and it's not working for anyone. It's a problem on their end, most likely. I would just keep trying throughout the day and later on, or even tomorrow if needed. I understand your frustration though and hope they get this working asap.

Keep in mind that it just released.  There are going to be issues with it.  I can understand your frustration, but give it time and they will work out the bugs. 

These are not "issues". This is about stealing money, charging for a service that doesn't work.
