Can I buy VBucks from Microsoft Store and get it to Fortnite PC?

What I've done is I linked my Microsoft account to my Xbox account and from my Xbox account to my Epic Games account, so if I bought VBucks from the Microsoft Store, will the VBucks transfer to the Fortnite PC? (I don't own a Xbox btw)

What I'm talking about is the Battle Royale one, not the Save The World. And I got the game through Epic Games Launcher because I'm in PC. Still works?

Hi EricPaulZ,

Currently purchased Vbucks do not transfer to other platforms.
For example you can not use the Vbucks on PC if you purchased them on Xbox.
However, the in game items you spend your Vbucks on DO transfer.

Vbucks CAN NOT be transferred to any other platform than the one you purchased them on.
Vbucks earned from the Battlepass DO transfer.
Vbucks earned from Save the World DO transfer.
Items purchased with Vbucks DO transfer.

In a nut shell, Vbucks that you Purchase CAN NOT be transferred. Vbucks that you Earn CAN be transferred.

Yes, that is correct. Items and progress but not purchased Vbucks.

Apologies, according to this link Epic changed how purchased Vbucks work over cross platforms.

"Why don't all of my V-Bucks transfer across platforms?

V-Bucks purchased on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 are only available on the platform they are purchased on. All other V-Bucks, are available across platform."

I would suggest you contact Epic Games and confirm this is correct before purchasing any Vbucks you want to transfer between platforms.
