I had Remnant II in my computer, I played it literally 17 hours ago and it was working fine. I closed the game and shut down the computer. Today I boot up into Win 11 and the game is just gone. Where are the files? How can a game that's 80 gigs suddenly disappear from the file system?

Hi,Nihat ErenEkinci.
Thank you for posting to the Microsoft community.
From your description, I learnt that when you finished playing Remnant II, you shut down the game and your computer, and when you started Windows 11 again, you found that the game had disappeared, and I understand your confusion about this problem.
Please check if the space on the hard disc where you installed the game has changed, if not, search for the game in ‘This PC’ or check the recycle bin.
You can try to use a disc detection tool:
1. Open File Explorer and navigate to This PC.
2. Locate the drive you want to scan. Right-click on the drive and select Properties from the menu.
3. Navigate to the Tools tab, and then click the Check button.
4. Click Scan Drive to start the scan.
Run powershell as administrator, use the cd command to get to the directory where the game is located and enter the following code:
Add-AppxPackage -path . \appxmanifest.xml -register
Then restart the computer or the Xboxapp app.
Disclaimer: Please save your current data before restarting your computer.
Are you using an external hard drive? If you are using an external hard drive, please try unplugging the drive and plugging it in again, then add the game path from the Xbox app.
The My Library and Cloud Games sections of the Xbox app on Windows allow you to browse and launch games in your collection from a single location.
