Unable to connect to the servers in ESO

Since the update I have been unable to login to ESO servers always get a , Login Failed due to server timeout or internal error.

Yep everything else works fine after some digging it appears it was not a result of the Dashboard but rather problems with the servers and someone playing a joke on me with the router :(
