Hi MixelMan0106,

You may leave the Minecraft Better Together Beta at any time, via the Xbox Insider Hub app. Simply navigate to Insider Content>Minecraft Beta>Manage>Unenroll.

Your game will shortly receive an update, reverting back to the GA build.

Thank you for participating in the Minecraft Better Together beta!

Unenrolling and waiting for an update doesn't work. You can unenroll and no update happens. You can also uninstall (after unenrolling) then re-install and that does not work (something is caching the installer). You can uninstall, delete "Delivery Optimization Files" using "Disk Cleanup" reboot and re-install and that doesn't work. Any other suggestion rather than re-installing the machine?????

This is insane, I am not longer part of the beta. I have unenrolled, however after re-installing Windows 10 (which is in itself insane to get rid of a beta version) and re-installing minecraft I still got the  f***ing beta version. The game was the normal version when after the re-instal of Windows and Minecraft, but after my son played for about 30 mins and left the game when he return it had updated to the beta version.

That doesn't work. I've uninstalled/reinstalled Xbox App and Minecraft per another Official Staff, it's still coming up as Beta. Please help!! I paid for Windows 10 regular build.

Hi All,

This issue can occur on the PC when more than one account has signed in and launched the beta version of Minecraft. Therefore, if you have unregistered on one account, but at some point launched the beta version of Minecraft on another account, that other account will retain the rights to the Minecraft Beta.

The current work-around would be to launch the Xbox Insider Hub on any accounts which have launched the Minecraft Beta on that PC and unenroll from the flight via the Xbox Insider Hub. If you don't have access to all account that might have accessed the beta via your PC, then please see the steps below.

You can also use a PowerShell command to remove access from all registered users on the PC by following these steps:

  1. On the PC, launch Command Prompt.
  2. Right click on the Command Prompt window from the task bar.
  3. Right click on “Command Prompt” within the context menu.
  4. Select Run as administrator.
  5. In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type powershell and press Enter.
  6. In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type get-appxpackage *minecraft* | remove-appxpackage and press Enter.

NOTE: After performing either of these solutions, you will need to uninstall/reinstall Minecraft to remove the beta version.

I had Minecraft Windows 10 non-beta v1.11.4 on a PC which was purchased on 02/2019 for $26.99.  But my non-beta version mysteriously changed to Minecraft Windows 10 Beta  v1.12.0.6. No other accounts on said PC has Minecraft. Also, I have not joined the Xbox Insider Hub or the Minecraft Windows 10 Beta program. I do have another PC with a different user account which has the Minecraft Windows 10 Beta v1.12.0.6. This PC also has Windows 10 JAVA Edition which was purchased several years ago. All was okay on both PCs until after Windows Update v1809 Build 17763.503. For some reason I cannot get rid of the beta version. I have tried all the previous suggestions to no avail.   I have tried the Windows Store Troubleshooter which finds nothing wrong. I have tried SFC /scannow, but it does not find any errors.   Help!
