Hello JamesButera,

I understand that you want to know the steps on how you can automatically forward emails that were sent you your account using Windows Live Mail. Let me help you with this.

Please be informed that the feature to auto forward emails to your other address is not available however, you can set up a Rule that can auto-forward your emails into your other address. Here are the steps:

  1. Open Windows Live Mail.
  2. Click the Folders tab.
  3. Select Message rules.
  4. On the Email Rules tab, click New.
  5. Under the Select one or more conditions window, mark the Where the To line contains people.
  6. Under the Select one or more actions window, mark the Forward it to People.
  7. In the To edit this condition, click the underlined words window, click the contains people link and then type your own email address and then hit Ok.
  8. Click the People link from the To edit this condition, click the underlined words window.
  9. Click Contacts.
  10. Locate and select your other email address and then click the To box, then hit Ok.
  11. Then click Ok again.

I hope this helps. If you have clarifications, feel free to post back for further assistance.

Thank You.

For 5., scroll down and select For all messages. Using the To address means that any emails where the address is in the Cc or Bcc fields would not get forwarded.

1. Open Windows Live Mail.
2 .Click the Folders tab.
3. Select Message rules.
4. On the Email Rules tab, click New.
5. Under the Select one or more conditions window, scroll down and mark For all messages.
6. Under the Select one or more actions window, mark the Forward it to people.
7. Click the people link from the To edit this condition.
8. Enter an email address or click Contacts.
9. Locate and select your other email address and then click the To box, then hit Ok.
10.Then click Ok again.
