From my understanding you have an email account from 1and1.
Are you trying to set up the said account via Windows Live Mail? If so, are you having issue in this area? If so, did you happen to receive any error message? If you do, then please provide us the exact error message that you receive the next time you post
back.
If not, what step did you take that led you to encounter the "won't authenticate" issue? What made you said so?

I am also having this problem. When I try to send emails through 1and1.com, whether it is through my regular email address or my 1and1.com, it is rejected with the error listed below. I've looked everywhere trying to find a solution for this. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.
