0x800CCC67 error code

Suddenly I cannot send email from any of my Roadrunner accounts.  I just finished chatting with Roadrunner tech support person, and my settings are correct.  I get Windows Live Mail error code 0x800CCC67 whenever I try to send.  Any suggestions?

Answer

Hi,

Let me assist you with your concern. We understand that are gettting an error code when trying to send an email. The possible causes of this issue are:

  1. Incorrect POP settings (usually the SSL option for SMTP) – check with provider if it is required or not
  2. Firewall blocking ports (usually port 25) – could be 3rd party since Windows Firewall generally allows this port through, unless specifically told not to do so

Please try to reconfigure your email settings again. For instructions, you may refer on the article below:

For firewall issue, you can try to disable the security software/ firewall to isolate the issue.
