Thanks for your feedback.

If you want to use a secure connection (SSL), the port should be 465, not 495.

it appears that my live account problems are solved.

My xplornet account tells me; (In pop up box)  must be connected to internet to sign in (when I am already connected, it does not make any difference if I have an open page, or not.)

OR

In sign in box above account name it reads: E-mail address or password incorrect, please try again.

cannot copy for screen shot

Thanks for now

Lorne

Hello Lorne S,

I am glad to know that your issues with your Micrsoft account has already been resolved. Regarding your concern with your xplornet account, make sure that you can access the account properly and you can sign in to it using a web browser.

You may need to contact the support for your xplornet account to gather correct port number and other configuration settings of the account so that you will not have any troubles adding it on Windows Live Mail.

Inform us for the results.

Thank you.

I thought my live account was solved but now I find that it comes and goes one time it works then the next it does not.  Not going to worry to much about it as it does work if I sign in.

As for the Xplornet account it sends and receives with out signing in, so am not going to worry about it as I have been in touch with them re: port settings and got the same results.  If I need to sign in I well use my browser.

Thanks for everything,

Lorne
