Scam Emails

I get approximately 4 or 5 SCAM emails every day all wanting personal information, money, and offering large sums of money. I've managed to have all of these emails to junk box, but these emails are also mixed in with emails that are not junk and need to be moved to my inbox or just deleted. As a solution to this problem, I have attempted to create rules which delete some of the emails in my inbox which causes additional sorting problems and it seems that the SCAM emails get around any rules by changing an email address or the subject matter a bit. In addition, since all of these people sending SCAM emails or JUNK emails change their email addresses several times a day you will get several junk emails about the same thing which can't be blocked. Even though I take a great deal of time reporting the SCAM emails to the different branches of the government, including the FBI and reporting them to banks, Yahoo, Gmail, and etc. These SCAM emails keep coming with some saying my payment is past due when I have never contacted them and they have no idea of my name or anything about me. I have even reported these SCAM emails as PHISHING  and nothing ever is done about them. It seems like Microsoft who is supposed to be blocking them and all these other sites such as Yahoo, Outlook, Gmail and etc. should review these SPAM emails and delete these email addresses and not allow them to create additional email addresses. Also, the should contact their internet provider (IP Addresses appear in all emails) and have their accounts shout down. There is NO reason anyone should receive 5 - 10 SCAM emails per day. Also, these people should be fined and jailed. Our government is to busy spending billions investigating things that are meaningless. Since they have all the money they can afford to hire a few people to fix this.

I'm also getting a lot of scam emails everyday but I'm blocking the email addresses and I'm lowering the number of spams daily. Also, keep an eye where you put your MAIN mail.

It seems that the SCAMMER doesn't even give Christmas a rest. Today I got over 50 SCAM email from people asking me to get in touch with them most included a PDF file that if you clicked on it you were taken to a site that asked you for a passcode/password, other's asked about a job, and I even got one from a relative direction me to SHARK TANK. The rest were ads for as seen on TV which was mixed in with ads I requested in my junk email. Even though I don't click on any of the links and have reported, have attempted to create rules, and attempted to block these emails they just keep coming daily with the SCAMMERS and advertisers changing their email addresses or changing a word within the email. In addition, I won 4 cars, billions of dollars in cash, and hundreds of gift cards which are all SCAMS. To most of you this might be funny, but to me, it seems that Microsoft, Outlook, and Hotmail are not doing their job. These types of emails including the x-rated one should even get to any of our mailboxes in my opinion. To me and a lot of you out there, it seems like we are under attack, even though we pay hundreds of dollars for the programs that are to protect us. What is even funnier is I don't get the types of email in Google's Gmail or my email in other servers.

Hi Josh

These files are in my JUNK FILES folder while I'm sorting through all the mail I want to keep. This morning and it's only 5:17 am I've received 16 of the same type of emails all from different email addresses. I have marked them as PHISHING and reported all of them and in my DELETED FILES folder I blocked each one. I've also created a rule for them since that all have almost the same wordage which is supposed to delete them, but it does work. I've gone as far as VIEW SOURCE looking for an IP address or phone number and thing that I may have a phone number. I have been involved with computers since 1982 and am almost 70 yrs. old and still can't seem to trace or eliminate these emails which are coming more than 60 or 70 a day.  The sad part is I may have to delete this email account which gets a lot of my mail.
