It is possible that the issue is caused by a corrupted data within your Windows Movie Maker. For this issue, please try to
repair your Movie Maker by following the steps below:
For
Windows Vista/7:
1. Click the
Start menu.
2. Click
Control Panel.
3. Click
Programs.
4. Click
Programs and Features.
5. Search for
Windows Essentials 2012 on the list and then select it.
6. Click
Uninstall/Change.
7. Click
Repair all Windows Essentials programs.
