Cannot Uninstall Windows Live Essentials

I cannot uninstall Windows Live Essentials. I've tried disabling my antivirus software, disabling my firewall, etc., but nothing appears to work. Here is the pair of error messages I keep receiving:

0x80040609
wllogin-amd64

0x8007064c
WLMimeFilter-amd64

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried removing it from programs & Features (win 7) or add/remove, IN SAFE MODE (F8)?

Hi,

It's possible that registry keys are corrupted and/or 3rd party applications are causing this issue during installation. Other than that, we need to make sure that you have the latest Microsoft updates installed. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these recommended steps:

1. Do a system file check. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
2. Restart computer.
3. Disable all startup programs.
Follow steps 1-3 only.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows-vista/Run-Selective-Startup-using-System-Configuration
4. Make sure no 3rd party anti-virus/security software is running.
5. Make sure Windows Firewall is ON.
6. Run the FixIt tool for installation issues. Follow this link.
7. Install the latest Microsoft .NET Framework.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851
8.Run Windows Update. Make sure all Microsoft updates are installed.
9. Uninstall Windows Live Essentials:

Let us know the result afterwards.

When I try to run the FixIt tool, windows essentials isn't listed, so I picked "Not Listed," and now it's asking me for a product code. I've never had a product code for Window's Essentials, because it came preinstalled. Should I skip this step?
