Thanks for posting in this forum. I understand that while running NFS you encounter the error which describes that the file msvcrt.dll is not located. Hope this is accurate understanding of the issue.

It would help if you could let us know about any changes you made to the computer prior to the issue.

Method 1:

This issue may occur if there is a conflict with some non-Microsoft service, so I would suggest that you perform a Clean boot and check.

Note: After the troubleshooting is completed ensure to follow the steps under the “Steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state” section.

Method 2:

This issue can also occur if there is any corruption in the System files. Run the SFC scan and check.

1.       Click Start.

2.       Click Run.

3.       Type “cmd” in the box. Press Ok.

4.       Type “sfc /scannow” (Note: there is a space after sfc)

If the above methods fail to fix the issue then I would suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the game. Refer the link and follow the steps.
