Error - 'Fatal error during installation', unable to uninstall Java.

My computer got a virus not long ago, and while getting rid of it, my java software got damaged. Its no longer usable, so i tried uninstalling it in order to reinstall it again. However, when i try to do that with the add/remove program, it says 'fatal error during installatiion'

I really don't know what to do, please help me :S

Hi Endow,

a. You may uninstall Java software completely from C:\Program files.

b. Type ‘%appdata%’ in the Start > Run box and hit Enter. Then delete the Java folder.

c. Follow the steps given in this link to delete all the keys present for Java software in registry.

After uninstalling Java, how do I remove its listing in the Add/Remove Programs?
