Error - An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log, while installing DirectX.

Original Title: DirectX Won't Install.

I kinda blew it this time, and I fully uninstalled DirectX in an attempt to clean install it. Now, It wont install. I get the error "An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log." as I attempt to install it again.
I can't find those two logs anywhere, and I'm 100% not sure what to do.

Hello TheAwesomeJoey,

Click on the KB article number below and follow instructions to install DirectX.

KB Article ID: 179113 - How to Download and Install DirectX
If that doesn't help, then I suggest you run a SFC scan to see if there are any corrupt files.
Click Start
Type: CMD, from the results, right click CMD
Click 'Run as Administrator'
At the Command Prompt, type:
sfc /scannow

This will check for any integrity violations and fix any corrupted operating system files.

Restart your system.
Then try to install DirectX again.
Please reply back with an update on whether this fixes your issue.
Sincerely,

Marilyn
