Sharing has been widely broken in WIndows 10 since they removed automated HomeGroup, which many think is to push us to use OneDrive, which I'll discuss a bit later. 1) Check over these steps for how to set up simple file sharing in WIndows 10: https://pureinfotech.com/setup-network-file-sharing-windows-10/ https://support.microsoft.com/en-US/help/4092694/windows-10-file-sharing-over-a-network 2) If that doesn't work then try these fixes for file Sharing: https://www.lifewire.com/troubleshooting-windows-file-sharing-818241 https://appuals.com/how-to-fix-the-windows-10-file-sharing-not-

I have spent the last few hours reading articles and watching Youtube videos trying to connect this brand new wireless XBOX controller to my PC. I know this question has been asked before but none of those solutions other people have given them has worked for me. I've updated everything, rebooted my PC, deleted/uninstalled the Xbox peripherals. I've updated using thing XBOX accessories app. I've hit this button and that button. Nothing has worked. The only time the controller works is if it's plugged in using a cord. Please help. Thank you.

Hi, I encountered BSOD with error code DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (0x133) when using Windows 11 LTSC 24H2. Currently it seems to be related to the connection of the WiFi 6E module. I have updated my Windows to the latest version, wifi driver is also updated to the latest version and BSOD still occurs. Windows Version: Windows 11 IoT Wnterprise LTSC 24H2 OS Build 26100.3476 WiFi 6E Module: EmWicon WMX7205 WiFi 6E Driver: 2.0.0.1221 I have recorded some BSOD Memory Dump file and analyzed them using WinDbg and shows that serial.sys cause BSOD, using !dpcwatchdog command

Hi, The last couple of days I have been getting maybe on average 1 blue screen per hour. I have gotten several different types of blue screens, such as "Memory management" and "Page fault in nonpaged area" and more. I have been getting these both under light and heavy load, as it can happen both while simply scrolling on the internet and it can also happen while I am gaming. I have read a lot of other posts about these types of blue screens, and have tried some of the suggestions. I have tried using the Windows Memory Diagnostic, and it came up with no issues found. I am guessing this might be

Just came back from holiday to see that my audio drivers for my microphone and headphones stopped working resulting in error code 52 in device manager. I've tried multiple methods available to fix it, including disabling device drivers via trouble-shooter, sfc/scannow, windows update, and even switching to test mode, which worked as a temporary fix. However, every time I need to reset my PC I have to go through the entire process again and again to get my audio back. Because of me disabling device drivers I'm not able to play games like Battlefield. I'd like to note that sfc/scannow said that

Hello,I’ve been having problems with my pc for a few months now. At first it was just slow at times, i’d restart it and then it was fine. Then it started getting worse, nothing would work and everything would just be stuck on loading, no programs would work, windows would not respond, and sometimes i would get the ”Windows 11 not responding” error message. I tried going in Bios mode and repair/start in safe mode, but that did not work. Eventually i tried changing the power outlet for my computer, and that worked for some reason, the problems stopped for a few weeks. Recently the problems start

Just installed Windows 11. No problems with installation. However, when going through settings adjustments, I find that settings/privacy and location/location, all entries are greyed out, and no changes can be made. Cannot turn on the location entry. At the top of the page, there is an entry "Some of these settings are managed by your organisation". What organisation? This is my personal PC.Appreciate any solutions.

Windows SmartScreen is Blocking Excel, Word, EXE file types But allows PDF, CVS, PNG. I can disable SmartScreen or use a different Browser and I can download files. Example. I go to OneDrive on Sharepoint and open a Excel File. I select File > Download a Copy and receive "Couldn't download" - Blocked. Some of the devices are in MDE and Others are using Intune Policy. We are a hybrid shop.

I just bought a new PC and want to connect it to my old PC and map a drive to make data transfer easier (I want to be able to do it selectively as I don't want my new PC to inherit the mess that is my old one). The new PC is running Windows 11 Pro and my old machine is running Windows 10 Pro. When I try to map a drive from my old one in my new one, I get a Windows Authentication error. I have tried entering local account user names and passwords as well as my Microsoft account. Nothing works. I found several posts that tell me to log in to my Windows account, go to the Security tab and se

I have an old phone in my PhoneLink that I cannot disassociate with my account. The Microsoft official instructions are to go to my microsoft account and unlink it there, but none of my android devices show up there (not even under android/ios devices). This includes my current phone. So, kind of hard to unlink something that doesn't show up as a device under my account even though it does show up on my PhoneLink Windows App. The phonelink app doesn't have a process for removing an old device, either.

I'm really hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to link my iPhone to my new Surface Pro 11, and within the "Link to Windows" app, it shows older Windows laptops that I no longer use, and are no longer linked with my Office 365/Windows account. I am unable to delete these computers. They don't have any Bluetooth profiles on my phone. The devices were unlinked and removed from my account. I can't tap-and-hold the computer names to delete them. How can I remove these computers from this list?
