Delete windows xp install data

I have a pc with windows xp installed on it (hard drive 1).
I have a second empty hard drive(hard drive 2) and I installed windows xp on that hard drive too.

Now I have formatted hard drive 2, but when booting the pc I still can see the option to start Windows Xp from hard drive 2(the one that is formatted) on the booting list.

I guess there is still some data on hard drive 1 which is referring to the old installation of hard drive 2.
So I guess I need to delete some info from hard drive 2 installation which is still on hard drive 1, so that I dont see again the old installation of hard drive 2 on the list.

What do I need to do?

Start/Run/msconfig (this open the System Configuration Utility.
Select the  BOOT.INI  tab

Click on the 'Check All Boot Paths' button.

If Msconfig finds an invalid path (you indicated you have two)
it will ask you to delete the invalid path.
