A:

Hardware has nothing to do with what operating system you can install. (besides minimum requirements)

On a system like yours, you could install xp, vista, 7, pretty much any OS.

Answer

A:

Go to your computer manufacture's support web site
and check for Windows XP drivers for your specific computer model number or motherboard.

Note: If there are no XP drivers listed then your computer may not support Windows XP.

If there are Windows XP drivers, then download to a folder on your hard drive and burn them to a CD/DVD.
Then after installing XP install all device drivers, starting with the Motherboard/chipset drivers,
SATA, LAN, Audio, USB, Etc., and so on.

If you have an Intel motherboard you can try the Intel Driver Update Utility:

Graphics/Video drivers:
Check the Graphics card manufacture's download site for the most recent Windows XP drivers for your card.
