Q: MS Visual C++ RUNTIMe Library, Runtime Error! Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\SearchFilterHost.exe. This thread is locked from future replies

I had deleted 2 apps hogging CPU and annoying me: Pareto Logics-DriverCure & I had uninstalled UNIBLUE registry Booster (using their own Uninstall Wizard.

I logged off 2 user accts on our system and "Turned Off" PC.

We have Win XP Professional, Service Pack3.

I was just at the initial screen, with the icons for both our accounts; this is the screen where you choose your account to

LOGIN to Windows.  THIS IS where Error msg appeared.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\SearchFilterHost.exe.

I amextremely frustrated and very hot, in an apt with No air conditioning. I have looked for answers everywhere I can think of,

I would like to see the "System Log", but I cannot find where it is, or what the name of file is)( I tried the HELP-

Glossary and just searching)>   aany help would be appreciated , I share this PC with my Brother, a lawyer, who really need s  it to work.

Step 2: Try booting in safe mode and see if the issue persists. Report the results.

You may check Event Viewer for more details on the error.
