System32 folder keeps popping up?

Hello all:
When I start my computer, a mystery program keeps trying to install it self then the System32 folder keeps popping up.  I don’t know what program is trying to install itself.  I have run numerous virus scans, cleaned the registry, anything that I could think of to get rid of this problem.  What is the next step to figure this problem out and fix it?  Thanks-C

Answer
That is very strange.  When booting up, open task manager (ctrl+shift+esc, in case) and find out that malicious software.  It's probably a trojan, which is why the virus programs do not work.  Once finding out what the problem is, you can find out a suitable remedy.  If the program is not malicious, type in msconfig in the run dialog and check to see if the system32 folder is in the start-up tab.  If is is, disable it.
