Blue Screen, Physical Memory Dump!!!!

I  have Windows XP Home, recently my computer will hang, and sometimes come up with the Blue screen, physical memory dump page!! only way to resolve is to switch off and back on again!

I rencently downloaded the windows debugging tool for windows from microsoft, and followed guidelines from a computeractive article. all was going well although i could not find a MEMORY.DMP file in the windows folder?? i did find a mini dump folder and looked in there and found the result said

probably caused by: ntoskrnl.exe

although i think of myself as computer savvy, this is getting complicated. i haven't got a boot disk for windows, is there any other way to correct this file??
