Windows XP Pro Embedded support

Does anyone know if Microsoft will also discontinue security patches and update for Windows XP Pro embedded  the same time as Windows XP pro, April 2014?

thanks, however can you explain the following,
 
The link shows a table with Windows XP embedded, is XPpro for embedded included in this catagory?
Also the end support date is Jan 12, 2016 and other documents from microsoft list the product end of license as Dec. 31, 2016. Almost a year later?? Does this mean support will end but distrubtors will continue to sell XPpro for embedded. This is all very confusing, why end XPpro support in April 2014, and then continue to support a almost identical product until Jan. 12, 2016.
